About the Staff

Christine Marshall/ Andrew Coles Deputy Head of Environmental and Outdoor Learning Team Christine and Andrew worked together at Wells Field Studies Centre for 16 years. They now oversee the running of both centres.	Simon Woodhouse Lead Teacher Simon is a qualified secondary school teacher with a PhD in Environmental Science. He is responsible for teaching and learning at the Centre.	Admin Team Sandra and Liz work in the office and help to ensure that a school's visit runs as smoothly as possible from beginning to end.


Chris Wright Roots and Shoots Project Officer Chris Wright leads courses in the walled kitchen garden. He has worked at the Centre for 2 years.	Jenny Armstrong Field Teacher Jen is a qualified primary teacher and taught in schools for 8 years. She is responsible for Early Years and KS1 development.	Julia Mumford-Smith Field Teacher Julia is a qualified primary and lower secondary teacher. She has worked at Holt Hall for 12 years.


Jon Dennis Outdoor Learning Instructor Jon is an experienced sports and teambuilding coach with a background in mentoring in schools.	Tom Kemp Field Teacher Tom is a qualified secondary science teacher. When he is not at Holt Hall he is looking after his organic farm.	Percy the Pheasant Pheasant Percy is often seen in and around the walled garden looking for food. Listen out for his noisy noise.


Domestic Team Jenny, Lynne (pictured) and Teressa take care of a group's every need during their visit from housekeeping to mealtime arrangements.	Kitchen Team Duncan and Roz prepare the menus using local fresh produce and can cater for all dietary requirements.	Gardening Team Chris Blake (pictured) and Peter look after the Hall's 35 hectares of grounds.
